Experience the Thinking Gym – Complimentary Month 1 by Invitation

Build Thinking Skills That Last a Lifetime

For committed parents of 6–10 year-olds

About Neuromath & Thinking Gym

Founded in 2001 by Dr. Norman Tien, Neuromath Academy has established itself as Singapore’s premier brain-based math education specialist. Drawing on two decades of cognitive psychology research and hands-on experience with students of all backgrounds, Dr. Norman Tien reimagined how children learn math, focusing on how they think rather than what they memorise.

Since our inception, Neuromath has empowered over 10,000 Singaporean families to transform their children into confident, independent learners. Our Thinking Gym programme distills this expertise into a structured, home-based journey that builds the core mental skills behind academic success.

At the heart of the Thinking Gym programme is the Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract (CPA) framework, which guides each learner through three progressive learning modes:

- Concrete: Hands-on manipulatives create a tangible foundation

- Pictorial: Visual models reinforce mental representations

- Abstract: Symbols and equations foster flexible, higher-order reasoning

Delivered across four progressive stages, Thinking Gym trains logic reasoning, problem solving flexibility, focus and attention, and visual-spatial processing. Designed for children aged 6–10, it lays the cognitive groundwork that supports every future challenge, from classroom lessons to creative problem-solving in life.

The Primary Years Thinking Gap

As math problems evolve from simple steps in P1 to complex abstractions by P6, untrained thinking habits can hold children back. Our programme builds the logical fluency, flexible reasoning, focused attention as well as visual-spatial skills needed at every stage.

Month 1

Logic Reasoning

Spot patterns. Make connections. Solve with structure and confidence.

Month 2

Focus & Attention Control

Stay calm and accurate—even with multi-step or timed challenges.

Month 3

Visual-Spatial Thinking

Interpret diagrams, draw models, and understand shapes and structures clearly.

Month 4

Problem-Solving Flexibility

Try new strategies, adapt mid-way, and keep going when the answer isn’t obvious.

Our 4-Month Thinking Gym Pathway

A structured progression that builds your child’s full cognitive toolkit, step by step

Each phase builds directly on the last, ensuring your child masters the foundational thinking skills before moving on to more complex challenges.

Is This Right for Your Family?

Thinking Gym is best suited for families who believe in building strong foundations early.

This programme was designed with intentional parents in mind, those who see learning as a long-term journey, not a short-term race. If the points below describe your family, this experience will be a meaningful fit:

✔️ Your child is between 6–10 years old and ready to move beyond surface-level learning
✔️ You value depth over drilling, and want your child to develop real thinking habits
✔️ You’re able to commit 90 minutes a week to a structured home-based routine
✔️ You’re looking for a trusted, proven system - not just another enrichment add-on
✔️ You want to be part of a movement that’s reshaping how children learn

If this resonates, we warmly invite you to join us.

Why Parents Trust Neuromath

"What All Students Need!"

“As a school teacher, I’m very aware that Primary 1 isn’t just about content. That’s exactly why I chose Neuromath for my own child in K2. What impressed me was how the programme builds thinking habits from the ground up.

It’s not tuition — it’s training the brain to approach math with clarity.”

- Jane Koh, MOE Teacher & Parent of Genevieve

"Easy To Understand!"

“We were nervous it might feel like tuition. But Chloe loved it. It was challenging but fun, and she always wanted to do more. The materials are engaging, and it gave her something meaningful to work on — no nagging required.”

-Darren, Father of Chloe

"Highly Recommend It!"

“Zainal started spotting patterns and connections in everyday things — clocks, LEGO, even car number plates. He’s begun to ‘see’ math, and it’s made him more independent and curious in learning.”

-Farah, Mother of Zainal

"My Daughter Became Obsessed!"

“Within weeks, Janelle became obsessed with number puzzles. She even started trying out her older brother’s P3 math questions just for fun. I never expected her to develop this kind of confidence so early.”

-Collin, Father of Janelle

"A Thoughtful Start to a Lifelong Skill."

We believe that when a child learns how to think, not just memorise, everything changes.

This invitation is a small way for us to support families who share that belief.

If you're ready to begin with us, we’ll walk you through every step, with care, clarity, and commitment.
